WHY WE FIGHT

US security policy is still spreading across the globe, and the US government uses media to biuld images of itself and of it's enemies. How does Norway and the Norwegian media relate to it's ally?

This year we've also found several interesting documentaries about US foreign policy seen historically and thrown light on through the media, especially in television. We've noticed a slight turn in US media from being loyal to the president towards a more critical and investigating journalism on foreign relations in the last year. The Orwell society that we wrote about last year is still looming in the background, but finally we see some voices that dear to critisize.

We'll arrange a debate about how we relate to the politics and the world picture that the USA wants to feed us.
