"Some men are born to be heroes." A Turkish special agent sets out to restore justice in Iraq.
This action film is based on an actual incident in northern Iraq: In 2003 US soldiers arrested 11 Turkish officers and pulled bags over their heads before taking them away. It was an insult to the Turkish people. From this point the film is pure fiction and pure action. When the Turkish intelligence agent Polat Alemdar comes to revenge the 11 soldiers, he is shocked by the brutality and cynicism of the US forces in Northern Iraq.
VALLEY OF THE WOLVES has sparked mass hysteria in Turkey and has also become a hit among the Turkish population in Germany.
